Nordic 2 Windproof Deep Winter Lobster Gloves are gloves from GripGrab designed for the coldest winter bike rides, when temperatures are unlikely to go above 0°C. Unisex.
The winter protection comes firstly from an outer fabric, which is 100% windproof, highly breathable and has a PFC-free durable water-resistant (DWR) coating. This fabric is also 90% recycled material.
Insulation in these premium deep winter lobster gloves comes from market leader Primaloft. Primaloft Gold is used in the palm - which is 100% recycled, low bulk and exceptionally insulating even when compressed. The back of the glove then features Primaloft Gold Active+ (55% recycled material), for the best possible deep winter insulation with an exceptionally high warmth-to-weight ratio.
The deep winter insulation is sandwiched between the outer fabric and a soft fleece lining; for maximum comfort when riding through frozen landscapes.
The lining, which is made from 100% recycled material, is a soft fleece for maximum comfort on those long winter bike rides. The lining has an anti-odour treatment, keeping the gloves fresher for longer; not only does this make them more pleasant to wear, ride after ride, but also means they won't need to be washed as often. This in turn means these gloves will last longer and have a lower environmental impact compared to gloves that need washing after every ride.
The palms of the gloves are made from a durable synthetic suede, which has a strategically positioned pad and a silicone grip pattern for maximum comfort and control, as well as protection from rough winter roads and trails.
The lobster-style design of these gloves has been evolved so that it has an optimised finger split: where the separation of the forefinger allows for easier braking and shifting on both road and MTB levers.
