White outdoor products for reduced water usage  

We want to be a part of changing the outdoor industry. We want to design products with as little climate impact as possible. Reduced use of chemicals and water is dear to us because we want to preserve the environment we grew up in and love. As part of our sustainability efforts, we have developed a series under the brand Urberg called ZeroColor™, consisting of tents, sleeping bags, and packing bags made primarily with white, undyed fabrics. The purpose is to find out how customers feel about buying and using completely undyed products, knowing that the undyed products are better for the environment than the same products which are dyed. But we're not satisfied here; we continue our work to improve manufacturing processes to be more considerate of animals, nature, and people.

Colored fabrics usually imply a higher environmental and climate impact. The dyeing process often requires significant amounts of water and chemicals. This means that the environmental impact of ZeroColor™ is less than that of dyed textiles.
