TSL was founded in 1981 in the French Alps when they created their very first snowshoe. TSL's first snowshoe was created with inspiration from older snowshoes, but instead of making it in wood and leather, it was a plastic snowshoe instead, the model was called JCB. After the first snowshoe, development has progressed to more technical and innovative snowshoes used by hikers all over the world.
