For globetrotters: The spacious Mundo 65+ has a comfortable suspension system that can be packed away in a flash when you don’t need it – ideal for flights and public transportation. Practical for the road: It includes a very small daypack ("To Go") so you can take along your necessities as hand baggage or on short excursions. And so that you can access your gear as quickly as possible in this midsize pack, there’s also a zip at the front for good access to the main compartment. You can securely store your laptop and cables in the practical office-organizer. The backpack was constructed that potential thieves won’t have direct access to the zip – a real plus in airports or other dangerous areas. Two additional handles make it easier to pick up and stow the pack away. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials.

This is subject to strict evaluation criteria, which are constantly reviewed and cover the entire life cycle of the product – including design, production, maintenance, repair and recycling. For the majority of the VAUDE product range, the state-regulated seal Grüner Knopf (Green Button), which characterizes socially and ecologically produced textiles, also applies. VAUDE is committed to fair working conditions around the world, including as a member of the independent Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) – VAUDE has achieved the Leader status at the FWF for its high level of commitment.
    VAUDE has been actively committed to climate protection for many years. Since 2009, the company has been using 100% green electricity sourced from its own solar installations at its headquarters in Tettnang. The company headquarters and all products manufactured there have been climate neutral since 2012. In 2019 they made another major climate goal of achieving global climate neutrality with science-based targets – as quickly as possible. VAUDE has now reached its first milestone along this path. With a great deal of effort and in close cooperation with suppliers, all emissions from the upstream global supply chain have been recorded. Based on the foundation of this sound data, VAUDE has now decided that all products will be climate neutral starting in 2022!  
    All climate damaging emissions that are unavoidable will be compensated for with a myclimate Gold Standard project in Vietnam that supplies small farmers with biogas from waste. But for VAUDE, compensating for emissions isn’t enough; reducing emissions is even more important. Therefore, the company has committed to far-reaching global reduction targets using science based targets to continuously reduce its environmental footprint and make a measurable contribution to mitigating climate change while meeting the 1.5 degree target.
    VAUDE attaches great importance to producing a share of its product range at its southern German headquarters and further expanding its "Made in Germany" production line.
