Description
Focus Discover 8x42 is made with Lanthanide glass for extreme light transmission and sharpness. This type of glass is used, among other things. in photographic optics and fiber optic cables thanks to its high refractive index.
The binoculars are also impact resistant and of course waterproof. The 25 mm diameter eyepiece makes them comfortable to look in, both with and without glasses.
The Discover series features phase-corrected optics for color-correct image reproduction as well as multi-layer anti-reflection coating on all glass surfaces. The lavish anti-reflex treatment and high-quality BaK-4 prisms give these binoculars a sharpness and brilliance that are normally only found in significantly more expensive models.
