Arc’teryx Lithos SL Harness is an ultralight climbing harness developed for sport climbing, with a focus on low weight, freedom of movement, and a precise fit. It is designed for climbers who want maximum performance during intense sessions, such as projecting or redpoint attempts.
The harness uses Arc’teryx’s proprietary Warp Strength™ technology, where a structural fabric is integrated into the waistbelt to distribute the load evenly without the need for thick padding. The result is a very thin (approximately 2 mm) and lightweight belt that still provides good support and comfort.
The design is minimalist but functional. It features two molded gear loops positioned for quick clipping and capable of carrying a full rack of quickdraws without feeling bulky. The leg loops are made from a single piece of webbing, which reduces wear points and improves mobility.
The harness is available in several waist sizes (1–6), and each size is offered with two leg loop options (A and B). This makes it possible to fine-tune the fit depending on body type and preference, which contributes to better comfort during longer climbing sessions.
Lithos SL is also equipped with a forged buckle for smooth adjustment, a secure belay loop, and a replaceable elastic rear section that extends its lifespan. The materials meet bluesign® requirements, and the construction is PFAS-compliant, making it a more environmentally conscious choice.
With a weight of approximately 315 grams, it is one of the lighter options in its class, and it is particularly suitable for sport climbing where every gram and every movement counts.
