By combining RDS-certified down with moisture-resistant PRIMALOFT® BLACK insulation in exposed areas such as the shoulders and elbows, the garment retains its insulating performance even under backpack straps and in more humid climates. The PERTEX® QUANTUM outer fabric makes the jacket light and flexible, while weather-resistant panels provide increased durability. Thanks to its low weight and compressible construction, it can be packed into its own inner pocket and works well both as an outer layer and as an insulating mid layer under a shell jacket.
