Men's Mission Alpine Shell is constructed with Black Diamond's BD.DRY™ membrane, which provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection during intense activities. Reinforcements in ripstop fabric with ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene on exposed areas increase durability, while pre-shaped sleeves provide good freedom of movement. The helmet-compatible hood is equipped with an integrated RECCO® reflector for increased safety, and the jacket has taped seams as well as water-repellent YKK® AquaGuard® zippers. Ventilation zippers under the arms help regulate temperature, and the harness-compatible pockets provide easy access to gear while climbing.
