Women's Mission Alpine Shell from Black Diamond is a shell jacket for women, developed for alpine climbing, ice climbing, and mountaineering. It combines waterproof protection, high durability, and good freedom of movement for demanding tours in varying weather conditions.
Women's Mission Alpine Shell is constructed with Black Diamond's BD.DRY™ membrane, which provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection during intense activities. Reinforcements in ripstop fabric with ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene in exposed areas increase durability, while pre-bent sleeves provide good freedom of movement. The helmet-compatible hood is equipped with an integrated RECCO® reflector for increased safety, and the jacket has taped seams as well as water-repellent YKK® AquaGuard® zippers. Ventilation zippers under the arms help regulate temperature, and the harness-compatible pockets provide smooth access to equipment during climbing.
