Harfang from Blue Ice are compact and lightweight hybrid crampons for ski tours and alpine ski mountaineering. The Harfang crampons have front spikes in chromoly steel and aluminum under the midfoot and heel. This creates a unique and outstanding balance between crampon functionality, weight, and packability. The patented design is based on a wide central textile strap that connects the front, middle, and rear parts. This provides a secure and stable fit on boots, where the placement of the midsection can be adjusted according to the size and shape of the boots. At the same time, this strap system ensures that the crampons are properly packable and compact.

They are designed with automatic bindings that fit all ski and mountaineering boots. Harfang comes with two front bails: a classic bail for boots with a toe welt and a bail with a "cap" for boots without a toe welt. The crampons come with a practical storage bag that you can attach to the hip belt of your backpack. This makes the crampons quickly accessible when you really need them.
