Arctic Zip Sweater from Brynje is a functional wool sweater in a unisex model for demanding outdoor activities, alpine touring, and cold winter activities. The garment provides very good thermal insulation and effective moisture transport, helping keep the body warm and dry during varying levels of intensity and in low temperatures.

This two-layer base layer sweater combines a tightly knitted outer layer in merino wool with a soft mesh-knit inner side in merino wool. The technical mesh structure traps still air and creates a highly effective insulating air layer closest to the skin. During physical activity, moisture and sweat vapor are transported to the outer wool layer, which absorbs and evaporates the moisture further without cooling the body. The sweater is well suited as a heavy base layer under a shell jacket or as a warming mid layer for skiing, hunting, and hiking, but also works very well for relaxing in a cabin or for work in chilly environments. Raglan sleeves and flat seams reduce the risk of chafing when using a backpack, and the high collar with a half-length zipper makes it easy to regulate ventilation as needed.
