Borgafjäll, Saxnäs, and Stekenjokk 1:50,000 from Calazo Publishing is the first ever topographic map in a 1:50,000 scale covering Borgafjäll and its surroundings. The map extends from the area south of Klimpfjäll and Saxnäs in the north to Stora Blåsjön and Risböck in the south.
This map is one of Calazo's new generation of topographic maps. It offers a level of detail that is not found in other maps of the same area. The terrain information is based on aerial laser scanning. In addition to completely new contour lines with a 10-meter interval, features such as watercourses and slopes are displayed in a significantly better way than before. Trails are depicted with greater accuracy, as well as wetlands, buildings, rocky terrain, and dense vegetation.
Calazo has determined that the best material for a map is Tyvek®. It is made of a synthetic fiber that makes the map completely water-resistant and highly tear-resistant. A Tyvek map does not tear at the fold lines or lose its color when used.
