The upper is made of water and dirt-repellent suede with attractive leather details. A YKK zipper makes it easy to put on and take off the boots. The lining consists of soft sheepskin, with an intermediate lining in textile for extra warmth. The insole is made up of four heat-insulating layers: cork, aluminum, Thinsulate, and sheepskin. The chunky outsole is made from a combination of materials, including EVA, TR-light, and rubber, to keep the weight down. The treaded sole has a rougher pattern for better grip on slippery surfaces.
