Kids' Sylvin Parka has a removable hood with a high collar, designed so that the zipper never rests directly against the chin to help prevent discomfort. At the front, there is a zipper with a protective storm flap that closes with buttons and hook-and-loop fasteners to help keep cold air out. There are also two front pockets with button closure and two chest pockets with zippers for storing smaller items.
