Phantom Wire from DMM is a lightweight carabiner for climbing when you want to reduce weight without compromising ease of handling. It is well suited for trad, alpine and ice climbing when building lightweight quickdraws or when you want to colour-code your protection.

The ergonomic shape makes the carabiner easy to use, even with gloves. The wire gate saves weight and reduces the risk of freezing in cold conditions, while the small nose opening helps reduce the risk of snagging on other gear. The I-beam construction provides an effective balance between low weight and high breaking strength, and the deep baskets help keep the rope or sling correctly loaded.
