Men's Härkila Heat Long Johns from Härkila are base layer pants for men with built-in heating membranes in the back lining and on the knees. The membrane can be set to 35ºC, 43ºC or 50ºC using the button on the waistband and are powered by an optional powerbank that you plug into the waterproof USB socket at the waist. With a power bank of 10,000 mAh, the pants can hold 50ºC for about 7 hours at an outdoor temperature of 0 degrees. The membranes are automatically switched off when the desired temperature is reached to save power, then they are switched on again when the temperature starts to drop. That way, you do not have to turn them on and off yourself as you switch between movement and sitting still - the heating membrane takes care of it itself!
