Woodland Jersey is made entirely of lyocell, a cellulose-based material produced from wood fibers. This material has a very soft texture, a beautiful drape, and a cool feel against the skin.
The wood used in the production comes from natural forests and responsibly managed plantations. All lyocell fibers are certified with FSC® or PEFC™ to ensure responsible forestry, and the fabric bears the EU Ecolabel. The factory in Lenzing, Austria, where lyocell is produced, reuses over 99% of the production's water and chemicals in a closed process. Since wood is a renewable raw material and the fabric is not mixed with synthetic fibers, it is naturally biodegradable.
When the t-shirt is worn out, do not throw it away, but take it to a recycling station from Houdini available in their stores and at many retailers, so they ensure the materials are recycled or composted.
