The pants are made from a four-way stretch softshell fabric that follows your movements without feeling bulky. The inside has a soft fleece backing that provides extra warmth close to the body. The wind-repellent construction protects exposed areas on the mountain, and the snow gaiters at the leg ends fit closely around the ski boots to prevent snow from getting in.
