Men's Aequilibrium Hike Gore-Tex from La Sportiva is a lightweight and technologically optimized hiking shoe. The shoe belongs to the tour/hike category and is perfect for excursions in varied terrain. It comes with Bluesign® certified Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort and features a durable and water-repellent synthetic upper. It has toe and heel protection as well as reinforcement in robust synthetic material, while the shaft has a small cuff at the top. The cuff is practical as it prevents snow and other debris from entering the boot. Additionally, the shaft is equipped with La Sportiva's 3D Flex System, allowing it to bend naturally at the ankle when walking in varied terrain and providing good support.
The outer sole consists of Vibram® rubber which forms the outsole of the shoe and acts as a shell around the PU foam material in the midsole that extends out into the lugs. This provides cushioning at a completely new level, while the lugs become more flexible and offer better grip on the surface. Thanks to the Double Heel™ construction at the back, the boot offers even better grip and braking properties during descent. The fit of the shoe is ergonomic and naturally wraps around the foot, is rounded at the edges on the inside, thereby eliminating all air pockets, which in turn increases comfort.
Aequilibrium Hike GTX® comes with the La Sportiva Impact Brake System, which is an asymmetrical lug pattern that contributes to better cushioning and ensures that the maximum possible part of the outsole is in contact with the ground to provide better grip.
