Marmot's history began in 1971 when Eric Reynolds and Dave Huntley were studying glaciology in Alaska - there they started the Marmot Club. To become a member of the club, the requirement was to climb an ice-covered peak together with another member. The club soon developed into what is today Marmot - one of the world's largest manufacturers of functional clothing and tents. Outnorth's range of Marmot products includes colorful sleeping bags and tents, functional jackets, clothing and accessories.
