MSR WhisperLite Universal is a legendary multi-fuel stove for all adventures. It combines reliable performance, versatility, and ease of use in a robust and lightweight design that works just as well in high mountains in severe cold as on summer trips.
WhisperLite Universal can easily be used with both gas and liquid fuel, including white gas and kerosene. By changing the jet and hose connection, the stove is adapted to the fuel type – suitable for travel and expeditions where fuel availability varies. With the included canister inverter, you can turn the gas canister upside down and get good output – even in sub-zero temperatures or when the canister is starting to run low.
The wide burner surface provides good support for larger pots and frying pans, making it easy to prepare meals for several people. WhisperLite Universal is known for quiet operation, and thanks to ShakerJet technology, it is very easy to maintain – simply shake the stove lightly to clean the jet while you are out on your trip.
The stove is made of stainless steel and weighs only 423 grams. It packs compactly and fits easily in most MSR pots. It comes with everything you need to get started: fuel pump, windscreen, heat reflector, inverter, spare parts, user manual, and storage bag. Fuel bottle, gas canister, and repair kit are sold separately.
