The Haute Route 38S from Ortovox is a versatile, technical, and comfortable touring backpack. The carrying system is slightly shorter, and both hip and shoulder straps are specially designed to fit women or individuals with a shorter back.
The backpack is equipped with the ergonomic O-Flex 2 carrying system, developed in collaboration with back specialists. This system provides comfortable carrying even with heavy loads and distributes weight evenly for optimal comfort. Made in Cordura®, it guarantees exceptional durability that withstands even the toughest adventures, year-round – both summer and winter.
The main compartment is accessible both from the top and via a rear zipper for easy and quick access to your gear. There is a separate compartment at the front dedicated to avalanche equipment, as well as a smaller top pocket for essentials that need to be close at hand. An integrated helmet holder allows for convenient attachment of a helmet or a jacket on the outside. For more alpine tours, there are also sturdy attachments for ice axes. Skis can be easily attached using both the classic A-frame or diagonal method.
