This mix allows the wool to actively absorb moisture, which in turn enhances the down's insulation capacity by up to 30%, even in humid environments or during high exertion. The system also transports moisture away and effectively prevents overheating. A durable outer fabric in PERTEX® QUANTUM PRO repels wind and water, while an adjustable, helmet-compatible hood, together with pre-adjusted cuffs and hem, provides complete weather protection. Wool padding strategically placed on the sides and under the arms contributes to both warmth and unrestricted movement. Two generous front pockets, softly lined, and a zipped chest pocket for valuables complete this well-thought-out design.
