Helium Down Mitt are warm down mittens from Outdoor Research. The mittens are made from a durable ripstop fabric with wind-resistant properties, with RDS-certified down insulation over the back of the hand and moisture-resistant synthetic padding in the palm. Use them as an outer layer during calm winter activities in dry weather. If you instead head out to the ski slopes, or if the weather changes and becomes wet and snowy, you can easily pull a shell glove over them for waterproof protection while keeping the warmth.

• The outer fabric is made from 100% recycled nylon ripstop
• 700 fill power RDS-certified down over the back of the hand
• 170 grams of PrimaLoft Crosscore insulation in the palm
• 140 gram Tricot Microbemberg lining in the palm
• 140 gram Low Cling Woven lining over the back of the hand
• Durable and wind-resistant outer fabric
• Lightweight and warm down over the back of the hand
• Synthetic padding in the palm for increased moisture resistance and improved grip
• The lining wicks moisture away from the hands and leaves a dry feel
• Can be used both as an outer layer and as an insulating layer under shell gloves
