Meteor from Petzl is a lightweight climbing helmet that you can use for everything from sport climbing to alpine tours. The low-profile design and large ventilation openings give you good protection without feeling enclosed, whether you are climbing in warm conditions or moving quickly in steep terrain.
The helmet is built to provide extended protection around the entire head, with reinforced safety for impacts from the side, front, and rear. The semi-rigid chin strap and headband make it easy to fine-tune the fit, even while wearing gloves, and the pronounced rear cutout provides space for a ponytail. Headlamp attachments let you quickly secure lighting for trips in the dark. When you are done, you can fold the headband into the shell for convenient packing in your backpack.
