Verso from Petzl is a compact and lightweight belay device developed for indoor and outdoor climbing as well as rappelling. It helps you belay the climber and control descents with smooth rope handling and effective braking, whether you use a single, half, or twin rope.

The well-designed shape keeps the weight low and allows the rope to run smoothly through the device, while V-shaped braking grooves provide good control when braking. Verso can be used with both one and two rope strands, making it flexible for everything from sport climbing to multi-pitch climbing. Engraved illustrations show how the rope should be threaded for belaying and rappelling, making it clear to use even if you are new to this particular model.
