Volta® Guide 9 Mm 80m from Petzl is a dynamic climbing rope suitable for everything from classic mountaineering and ice climbing to trad and sport climbing. You get a very light and supple rope with a complete dry treatment, approved as a single, half, and twin rope, which provides high flexibility when planning trips on rock, ice, and in alpine terrain.
The low weight and thin diameter mean you carry less and get a rope that runs smoothly through belay devices and descenders. The water-repellent treatment reduces the absorption of water, dirt, and wear, which is a clear advantage during ice and mixed climbing or long days in damp conditions. The construction provides a rope that is easy to handle, both when feeding and taking in rope, managing loops at the belay station, or climbing in cold weather.
