Io 1 from Terra Nova is a one-person tent designed for hiking and lighter backpacking, where you want to keep both weight and pack size down without compromising weather protection. The tent provides spacious shelter for one person, is easy to carry in your backpack, and works well for longer trips when you move frequently between campsites.
The construction uses trekking poles in combination with two smaller aluminum poles to create volume and stability without adding unnecessary weight. The inner tent is partly made of mesh, which releases moisture and provides good airflow, while still offering protection in more exposed weather conditions. The compact packed size means the tent fits even in smaller backpacks, which makes it easier when you want to hike long distances with a light pack.
