The trousers combine stretch and durable woven panels, providing freedom of movement while standing up to demanding use on trails, in the forest, and in the schoolyard.
Stretch panels at the knees and crotch provide comfortable flexibility when the child climbs, jumps, and squats. The articulated knees with soft stretch fabric at the back of the knees increase comfort further during longer days outdoors. The waist can be adjusted with elastic on the inside so the trousers fit well even as the child grows, and the leg endings can be adjusted with a strap and hook-and-loop fastening to fit over different shoes or boots. Zip pockets keep small items secure, and a water-repellent treatment without fluorocarbons helps resist light moisture and dirt.
