Hidalgo 42+8 from VAUDE is a hiking backpack for older children and teenagers, with room for everything you need for a hiking adventure. The backpack has an adjustable Tergolight carrying system that can be adapted to the child’s back length and makes it more comfortable to carry heavier loads over long distances.
The backpack has padded ErgoShape shoulder straps, an adjustable chest strap, an adjustable hip belt with pocket, a padded back panel, and a spacious main compartment with room for extra clothes, a sleeping pad, a sleeping bag, and food supplies. The backpack has a top lid that can be adjusted in height and features a zippered pocket. On the sides there are stretchy mesh pockets for snacks and a water bottle, and the backpack also has attachment points for trekking poles and extra gear. The exterior is treated with Eco Finish, an environmentally friendly and water-repellent finish free from fluorocarbons.
