With an R-value of 8.5 and a thickness of about 9 cm, the sleeping pad provides effective insulation even on frozen ground. The internal Apex™ construction keeps four layers of Thermal Mirror™ film evenly distributed, providing high warmth without creating rustling sounds when you move. A durable 40D nylon underside handles rougher surfaces, while the top in lightweight 20D nylon gives a softer feel. The updated Laylow™ valve makes it easy to fine-tune the firmness, and with the included Vortex™ pump sack you can quickly inflate the sleeping pad without introducing moisture from your breath.
