The closed-cell foam construction provides immediate insulation against ground cold without the need to deal with valves or inflation, and the compact, foldable design makes it easy to carry in or on your backpack.

Switchback™ – Short offers a clear comfort improvement compared with classic foam sleeping pads thanks to the special pattern with hexagonal raised nodes. They create more space for the sleeping bag insulation to retain its loft and thereby provide better warmth around the body. A metallized film helps reflect body heat back toward you, providing extra warmth relative to the thickness. The pad works just as well on its own during warmer trips as in combination with an air mattress when you want to increase both ground protection and total insulation.
