The TIGHT™ family is growing
Over thirty years since the original TIGHT™ backpack hit the scene, it still stands as one of Haglöfs' most iconic models. Each year, new waves of outdoor lovers are drawn to its unique ergonomic design, adjustable fit, and functional features. This season, the TIGHT™ line is expanding to include a tote bag, duffel bag, waist bag, and small shoulder bag—crafted in the true TIGHT™ spirit, perfect for both adventures and daily use.
The first TIGHT™ backpack was launched in 1992, initially available in three color-coded sizes, and quickly sold out.
"I began by drafting a few sketches, then went straight to the factory to build some backpack samples to take home. We got some guys who were into climbing and mountain biking to test out the initial prototypes and hear their feedback. They loved how the backpack clung close to their back and its barely-there feeling, even when fully loaded, thanks to its lower center of gravity."

Lennart isn't a formally trained designer but a passionate enthusiast of outdoor gear. He joined Haglöfs in the late '80s after answering a job ad for a product manager role.
