The hood is removable and adjustable, and will come off if it gets caught on something while your child is climbing or jumping. It can also be removed in milder weather if it feels too warm around the neck. The hood has a faux fur trim for protection against snow and cold, and this is also removable for safer play and more versatile use of the snowsuit. The top of the zipper has a soft guard to prevent chafing, and replaceable elastic foot straps at the leg endings help keep the legs from riding up.
