Men's Smock No. 1 from Fjällräven is a durable outdoor jacket for men, with generously sized pockets that easily accommodate the contents of a small backpack. Like Jacket No. 68, it is designed for advanced outdoor activities year-round, but Smock No. 1 features a longer cut and more robust features. The spacious hood can be adjusted for a perfect fit around the head, and the brim can be folded to provide either maximum wind protection or more side visibility. When folded down, it forms a high collar.
Map, first-aid equipment, small tools, and other essentials for a day in the forest can be stored in the many spacious pockets on the chest, lower front, back, and sleeves. The front zipper is two-way and has protective flaps and easy-to-grip buttons secured to the garment with ribbon. Drawcord adjustment at the waist, an extra gusset under the arms, and pre-shaped sleeves for freedom of movement. The fit is generous to allow room for layering underneath.
Smock No. 1 is made from wind- and water-resistant G-1000 Eco, composed of recycled polyester and organic cotton, with extra strong G-1000 HeavyDuty on the shoulders, sleeves, and pockets. Materials and details are chosen to minimize environmental impact, for example, most leather details are made from reclaimed scraps, and to make it easy to replace worn parts after years of use.
