The idea for Nemo was born during a stormy night in 2002 on Mount Washington in the United States, when founder Cam Brensinger realized just how much better outdoor gear could be. Shortly thereafter, he founded Nemo Equipment, based in New England, where the focus from the very beginning has been on thoughtful design that makes adventures easier and more enjoyable.
Today, Nemo is known for its innovative tents, comfortable sleeping bags and sleeping pads, practical backpacks and duffel bags, and smart camping furniture such as chairs and tables.
