The story of Shock Absorber began in 1994 when research at the University of Edinburgh helped develop the original sports bra for women. The first sports bra, created to counteract the negative effects of exercise on women's bodies, was a major breakthrough. A year later, Shock Absorber launched its first collection of sports bras with the help of sports legend Sally Gunnel. Even today, the company works closely with researchers to constantly develop the products and provide the best possible conditions for women to play sports.
