• Don't forget butter or oil

Finally, it is important to take care of your griddle in the right way. If you do, you can enjoy it for life. Before you use your new griddle, wash it with hot water. Then heat the griddle until the water has dried and coat with fat/oil. After each cooking session, pour on some water which you heat up, and then you can clean the griddle with a spatula and paper towels.
